Alan (Opa) and Marcia (Sha Sha), Josh's Dad and Stepmother, came to visit this past weekend to meet their new granddaughter. They were here from Friday through Monday and we had a wonderful time. We mostly hung out around the house but we did make it out on a couple of excursions. We left Avery at home with her aunties, Ang & Linds, on Friday night and went to a delicious dinner at Jill's Restaurant in Boulder. On Saturday, we spent most of the day resting at home and Josh and I even fit in a nap in the afternoon. What a treat! On Sunday, we took Avery downtown and walked along the Boulder Creek Path and then up and down Pearl Street. We ate lunch at Conor O'Neills, our favorite Irish Pub. Avery was a little angel and slept the entire time! Sunday evening was another relaxing night spent at home cooking whatever we could find in the fridge. It was great to see Alan & Marcia and are looking forward to our next visit in March, which will be a trip to their home in Florida. Yay!
