Cleaning out the Camera

Last weekend, Kara, dogs and I headed out to the western edge of Colorado for the first race in the Mountain States Cup series. The one rule Kara has implemented for this summer re: bike races is that we have to stay in a motel. No more sleeping in the car, or camping. Sounds reasonable enough to me.



The day before the race, while Kara stayed in the motel and caught up with her celebrity gossip tv, i took a few pictures on the race course.

The race went OK and i finished mid-pack. It was the first race in long time where i had fun and felt strong, so those are two big positives to build on.
